via Daily Prompt: Vivid

Unsure of how to start,

Treading on this journey, with all my heart,

Stranger, until that moment,

Countless the time we spent.

Not many summers ago,

Vivid I recall, the flurry white, didn’t let me go.

Found him, scary eyed on a ledge, ready to be taken,

Jumped on my arms, he was fully shaken,

Curious was he of the sights of his new home,

Paraded around like Mr. Handsome.

Unsure of how to start,

I took to him and he to me,unthinkable then, a friendship that would never part.

My flurry white, I didn’t leave him out of my sight,

We stand by each other, with all our might.

From scary eyed to sturdy, vivid I recall,

Mr flurry white, here I call.
