At first…

A new bride,

Shy at first, but with oodles of pride,

To be at her beloved’s,

Dreams she carries to be forever loved.

Totally unknown of the environs, a while ago,

Makes she this her new home, a blessing that she’ll never forgo,

Takes care she of one and all,

Smiles, she at every beck and call,

Not to be perturbed at any mishap,

But twice does think, before taking her own nap,

Never will anyone realize,

A thing that was a house, has become a home,

Indeed, she nurtured it with love & care,

A stranger she was to the environs, not very long ago,

Gelled she, with one & all, like fish to the water,

Immersed herself she, in making of her new home, a better place,

Mixed a potion of kindness with every act performed.
