The Oath

three line tales week 68: a whole bunch of graduates at their graduation ceremony

A new self we’d be with the degree in hand,

Days, months, years of toil and sweat, this day gotta be grand,

Years later do we remember the oath we took , or is it a ritual that’ll just stand?

Acknowledgements :- Thanks Sonya for running the challenge at Three Line Tales. The challenge is to write a three line tale based on the prompt. For details please refer here. Thank you all for stopping by and reading.
