The journey of life,
Catapults thousands of scenes,
Some of misery,
Some of joy,
Some of tears,
And yet others of happiness,
In moments of sorrow,
While the path seems adrift,
And nowhere to go,
The moorings held strong by,
The kindness we practice,
The good deeds we do,
The support system by default, of family,
And that we make along the way, of friends.
True, what we give is,
What we get,
Nothing more and nothing less,
Strongly supported by a force,
Who is coronated and believed by different names,
By each one of us.
So true! And I loved the way you interlinked both the prompts so well into your poetry! Lovely ๐

Thank you so much Mam. I didn’t want to sound preachy so I wanted to write about nature for the prompt Adrift, but sadly couldn’t. Later when I saw the Catapult prompt I couldn’t resist myself from writing this.
