Will we at all?

There again,

Power failure dimming the city lights,

Playing spoilsport to the everyday life,

From many a distance gleamed,

Tiny specks of light,

Like jewelry on a brightly decked bride,

Their glow compensating for,

Man made lights that refused to shine,

Whereas the never failing stars,

Serenely glowed by,

Will we at all,

Stop by to admire,

The charm of a multi colored night sky?

Distant

  1. That’s beautifully written! “Their glow compensating for,
Man made lights that refused to shine” – I loved this poem. Caught up in the comforts of the urban life, we often fail to admire the natural beauty around us. 🙂
