Happy I would be

Happy I would be, lying still,

Without much to do,

Happy I would be, reflecting,

On the sunny days gone by,

Happy I would be, to,

Just be myself,

Happy I would be, for the,

Numerous untold things,

Happy I would be, if,

Failures weren’t part of my journey,

Happy I would be, of the umpteen,

Other rosy  occurrences, that heed my way,

Happy I would be, but,

Being unhappy also paves the way for a happier me.

  1. Beautiful poem. I like the positive outlook you have on a negative situation. Most people (myself included) view failure as a bad thing. Your piece shows that it could be a means of preparing us for greater or better. Lovely post.
