Is it a score?

It was another Monday at work, same old assignments, same old people, same old office settings.

While I was a kid, all I wanted was to grow up, but now I’d rather be a kid playing games, than look forward to a monotonous stream of work, mumbling so, Meeta started off to work.

The pale office building beckoned her to run away from it.

Dragging herself, persuading her feet to inch forward, she was surprised to hear shouts of laughter emerging from the otherwise quiet conference room.

Her manager, sensing his team’s boredom had invited them to an hour’s game of fun and frolic, dividing them into scores* and promising rewards to the team with the best scores**.

The manager announcing ,Let’s make it a Magical Monday instead of a Mundane Monday, get the game going, wasn’t she happy to be at work, today?
