Where’s the grocery list! yelled Mrs Tripathi. I remember leaving it at the table.
Mr Tripathi held out his tablet where he had made a note of the groceries.
That brought a smile to her face.
Reminiscing the times, when she made sure his clothes were neatly pressed, the homework of their children in order, their pet poodle well fed, their family and friends beneficiary of her kindness.
Struck with Alzheimer’s* since the last six months, there were times when she couldn’t even recollect who he was.
Life could be turbulent at times, my companionship for her could never falter.

Alzheimer’s* disease is a neurological disorder in which the death of brain cells causes memory loss and cognitive decline. A neurodegenerative type of dementia, the disease starts mild and gets progressively worse.( Courtesy :- Google)
