The ever-flowing

Bikurgurl 2017

Lying beneath the majestic mountains,

That portray strength and solidarity to thousands,

As avians dive to fish their meals,

And sapiens* admire your calmness that heals,

Serenity, tranquility, beauty,

The virtues you possess among the multi,

On looking at you,

We wonder in awe, could we imbibe your  patience that in us, is few?

Whatever be the day,

Sunny, windy, wintry, you never say nay,

Flowing, unmindful of the situation,

Going on, without an inch of frustration,

When you cannot take any more,

Rising up to release your pent up anger, the world doesn’t dare come to your shore,

Like a father, cajoling his agitated daughter,

The majestic ranges, hugs you making the mood lighter.

sapiens*- here referring to homo sapiens(human beings)

  1. What lovely lines …. swooning 🙂 I love how you folded all the aspects of the water: nature and sapiens alike! The soothing rhythm of tranquility was lulling my senses as the sound of the water on the shore. Absolutely lovely {and well worth waiting for!} — thank you so much for joining us again this week 🙂
