Something for all

Nature designed it in such a way,

That no confusion lay,

That there would be no dearth,

Of resources on this evergreen Earth,

Water, flowing in continuity,

Food, in superfluity,

Air, in congruity,

Shelter, in perpetuity,

There was no ambiguity,

Such was her ingenuity,

Then, Man felt he was above all,

He set to conquer, making everything appear small,

In the name of civilisation,

He came with the idea of modernisation,

Caring less for anything natural,

Boundaries demarcated, deeming everything contractual,

Necessities was replaced for luxuries,

Paving way for discoveries,

Some resulting in bettering lives ,

Others, finding their places only as archives,

Would we retain,

Or would a time come when all life would barely sustain?
