Man with a mission

PHOTO PROMPT © Sandra Crook

Today, marked his 25th year as a motorman. The route, every tunnel, duration of each signal, he could guide the train with his eyes closed. He was considered as an important member of the network system of his country. It was his job that gave him importance in other people’s eyes and he honoured it with all care.

Ram, the station master beckoned.

All these years you’ve helped people reach their destination, today, in these times of dearth, bring hope in their lives by transporting the much needed elixir of life, water. He set on a yet another important mission.

100 words.
