Contentment

Happy I am of ,

The path travelled,

Some friends I made,

Many misunderstandings I had,

Some knowledge I imparted,

Many lessons I learnt,

Some answers I got,

Many queries I had,

Some hues of life I enjoyed,

Many colours I missed to see the beauty,

Some calm I enjoyed, while,

Many apprehensions I concocted,

No qualms I have now,

Handing over the baton to the next generation,

As I sit back and enjoy,

My form might have changed,

But the inner self still remains the same,

As I marvel at the paradox of my life,

Grey, it seemed then,

Filled with confusion,

All that I can see now is a vibrant gold,

A beautiful palette,

Happy I am of,

The path travelled.
