The change

Unless I’m up for it,

Today would it be as uneventful,

As was yesterday,

And the blame game shall always continue,

If something is to be changed,

If the day is to be lived,

If I am to be loved,

It’s pointless looking around,

It would suffice looking within,

For I’d like to see where the change would take me,

For I’d like to soak in the happiness I spread,

For I’d like to appreciate the beauty around.

Every creation has something to offer,

Only if I,

Open my mind to the lesson it’s willing to teach,

The end is inevitable,

The journey towards it,

Is as eventful as I make it,

Rather than hiding behind a cowardly veil,

Facing life with courage,

Even if none offer hope,

As sturdy as a rock,

I look for it within,

Even if everything around me crumbles,

I stay strong,

Unless I’m up for it,

Today would it be as uneventful,

As was yesterday,

And the blame game shall always continue.
