How can you forgive me so easily?
How can you accommodate my needs over yours so effortlessly?
How can you accept my differences so amicably?
How can you tolerate my tantrums so maturely?
When all I do is complain,
When all I do is compare,
When all I do is snub,
When all I am is unapologetic to you,
Would I understand your efforts,
When I become a mother?
Or would I only care for my child,
And not remember your good- self ?
Mother, there’s a special place in your heart,
For each of your kids,
There’s a special corner in your mind,
For each of their needs,
My world*,
If not for you,
I dare not think, where I’d be in this world,
And who would my family be?
Everything here, I owe it to you.
My world* :- Here, my world meaning, Mother.
