Darkness is all that we see,

When something we wish for,

Isn’t fulfilled,

Dejection is all that we feel,

When somebody doesn’t favour us,

With approval,

Negativity is all that we seek,

When something,

Doesn’t go our way,

Superstition is all that we rely on,

When we fail to realise,

Our potential,

A person to blame is all that we want,

When we fear,

We have things to lose,

Let’s pause for a moment,

And don on our thinking caps,

Battling the downs,

Rejoicing the ups,

We have lived all this while,

And will continue to do so,

Let’s rejoice the,

Umpteen times we have been favoured,

With positives,

We never bothered to seek.
