Mother longing, as,

Kitten denied awareness,

Purr! uniting them.

Backstory :- My house cat had given birth to a single kitten and mother and daughter were best buddies, until the day when mother cat fell ill. Later after she recovered, her kitten lost interest in playing with her, even failing to recognise her. Not one to give up hope, mother cat was persistent until the time both of them became best buddies again.

Acknowledgements :- Thank you Sadje for running the challenge at What do you see #15. The challenge is to write a piece with inspiration drawn from the photo prompt. For rules please refer here. Thank you all for stopping by and reading.
