Life’s story

Reflections by: Yunus Emre Uzun

An amalgam of days, months, slowly,

Turning into years, decades, surely,

Etching in its script,

Some moments that gripped,

So were the lonely times,

Playing their melancholy chimes,

On life’s pages, I’d like to be written,

Never to be unwritten,

The times that made me stronger,

When it got tougher,

The times that I held my ground,

When everything else was shaky around,

The times that I enjoyed my own company,

When nobody cared to accompany,

Not just including moments that were thorny,

Caring to include moments that were funny.

90 words.
