Until light appears

Darkness of night,

Engulfing vast expense,

Brushing away worries of the day,

In all likeliness,

Eerie silence,

Chills running through the spine,

A lost bird’s frantic cry back home,

Anxiety, cautiousness, trepidation,

Unaware of the unknown,

Lulling to sleep,

Premonition of perturbed harbingers,

A calm before the storm,

Or merely,

Hallucination of sorts,

Until light appears.

  1. There are sometimes premonitions of danger or calamity ahead. Very well explored this idea of the unease we experience when something bad is going to happen.
Thanks for being a part of the challenge.
