Whispering winds

Black kite braving the wind ; P.C :- Sabharish

Whispering winds,

Carried a message,

Over the chirping of birds,

Cacophony of vehicle blares,

Unrelenting echoes of mind,

Busyness of everyday life,

Failed to ingest, I,

Came in the whispers,

Like a long lost friend waiting to reconnect.

Roaring winds,

Called for an urgent hearing,

Rattling the roof tops,

Shattering the glass panes,

The mighty kite faltered from its path,

The majestic trees shaking violently,

Finally gaining attention,

Impatient wind had its audience,

Wanting to be heard.

P.S :- Inspiration drawn from a black kite (in picture) braving heavy winds in Bangalore. On a side note, heard this news about a rare American White Pelican( migratory bird) braving cyclone Amphan. https://kalingatv.com/state/rare-bird-falls-from-the-sky-in-odishas-paradip/
