Hours, without a muse,
Strikes like a bolt of lightning,
Fluidly grasping,
Brainstorm at opportune time,
No stopping writer within.

I started it as a Tanka, the poem still has the required number of syllables for a Tanka, but I couldn’t fulfil the criteria which says a Tanka should hold meaning while reading in reverse. So, I converted it into Gogyohka. Thank you, Ma’am. π

As far as I know, the reading in reverse condition is for certain forms of haiku. There is no such condition for tanka.

Oh I didn’t know about this condition for Haiku. Thanks for clearing up my doubt about Tanka, Ma’am. π
