Obdurate dream

Obdurate* dream of his,

Stegosaurus that kept coming,

Despite many protests,

Ever since he met them,

In brightly coloured picture books,

Some facts he read, many other stories he imagined,

Vast areas they roamed,

Mighty lords that they were,

Tiny creatures making way,

Bowing in respect,

Humungous that they were,

Forgotten and extinct now,

A tiny speck that he was,

Would he survive,

Probably he’ll get to escape on their backs?

72 words.
