Scenes

P.C :- Sue Vincent

On a long journey,

Never ending images,

Buildings of all sizes,

Big, medium, small,

Abundance of city in the sky,

Perfectly puffy smokes of habitation,

Not an inch remaining unoccupied .

Now, what seemed like,

An infinite path,

Of nothingness,

On either side,

Plentiful of vibrance around,

Sweet smell captivating the senses,

Purple patch of heather for eternity long.

Enticing towards,

Sea of beauty,

Respite from,

Never ending journey,

Rays from overhead,

Brightness blinding,

Radiance filling entire backdrop.

Then to now,

From bright skies,

Change in scene,

Unexpectedly pleasant,

Welcome showers,

Like a curtain of hug, from above,

Excitement brings close to nature, journey continues.

Here is a place for a journal, for observations and recording, for writing and musing, another place to be.
