Round and round in doubt,

Harmonise inhibitions,

For accomplished feel.

Poetry Form :- Senryu(5/7/5 syllables).

Thoughts behind the piece :- Beating around the bush or going round and round in doubt, one hardly accomplishes anything. If we harmonise our inhibitions and march ahead, things may work out.

Acknowledgements :- Thank you Colleen. M. Chesebro for running the COLLEEN’S 2020 WEEKLY #TANKA TUESDAY #POETRY CHALLENGE NO. 190 #SYNONYMS ONLY CHALLENGE. Thank you Jules, of Jules Pens Some Gems .The words for the challenge are circled and squared and the synonyms that I’ve used are round and harmonise respectively. For rules please refer here. Thank you all for stopping by and reading.

  1. I am not afraid to admit that I love, love, love, that you put your “thoughts behind the piece” after your poem. I have a very hard time understanding what people are trying to say in their poems. Yesterday I read a poem and it was like I was reading something in a different language. I read it to my boyfriend and asked him what he thought it meant. Well, he starts going on about whatever the topic of the poem was! I laughed and said how did you figure that? He gave a great explanation but I was still terribly confused.

    1. Thank you very much for your comments. The syllabus constraint in syllabli form of poetry made me want to convey the ” thoughts behind the piece”. I wanted my readers as well as myself to fully understand my perspective at that point in time. At a later date, I didn’t want myself to be confused with my own poem. Thank you very much for your feedback, much appreciated. πŸ™‚
