Power

Each day,

fearless be strides,

inkling of fright transforms,

rope to snake to petrified eyes,

power.

Poetry Form :- Cinquain ( 2/4/6/8/2 syllables)

Inspired from a saying in my mother tongue that states, if one is scared, even a harmless rope will appear as a scary snake.

Acknowledgements :- Thank you Colleen. M. Chesebro for running the Colleen’s Weekly Poetry Challenge. The challenge for this week is to use the synonyms of the words, hint & bold in any syllable poetry form. The synonyms that I’ve used are inkling in place of hint & fearless in place of bold. Thank you Β Annette Rochelle Aben for selecting the words. For rules please refer here. Thank you all for stopping by and reading.

    1. Thank you very much, HS. Even I’ve been on the syllable poetry craze since the last 10 months, I guess. Earlier, I had attempted only Haikus. You may check Colleen. M. Chesebro’s site where she has detailed about various syllable forms of poetry and give them a try. πŸ™‚ I’m sure you’ll enjoy.
