Free spirit

Spirit flies free, traversing through lines,

Across air, water, land, ether, unleash,

Ensconced in time’s cocoon, constraints begin,

Captured by life, freeness tiptoes unheard,

Nature intended free, man sets price.

30 words.

Thoughts & Acknowledgements :- This is written combining two prompts Sadje’s What do you see challenge # 49 where the above photo serves as an inspiration for the piece. Shweta Suresh’s six word story #58, the prompt word being “free”, this week I’ve taken the liberty of converting five lines each of six word stories into a poem, capturing the theme “free” drawing inspiration from the above photo. Thank you all for stopping by and reading.
