She runs, yet waits

The journey of life,

Catapults thousands of scenes,

Some of joy,

Some of misery,

Some of cheer,

Some of tears.

Yet everyday,

A nightingale practises until it hits the right note,

Fireflies dance to their own light,

Moorings of experiences smiles steadfastly,

Moon glitters to shimmers of stars.

Transient time,

Makes us believe she is constant,

She runs, yet waits,

One doesn’t know the story until he has lived.

70 words.
