A,
Story,
That needs to,
be told of when,
Indomitable,
mighty Sun found himself,
Unconquerable, strutted,
with pride, none to vanquish my strength,
These worlds I shall rule ceaselessly, Boom!!
Cackles, for it shall be light of my might,
Scared Earth shudders at the proclamation,
Mighty Sun roars I’ll shine forever,
Proudly beams a shattering smile,
No one to mask my glory,
Illusions of power,
bewitches, small moon,
smiles sheepishly,
Light on Earth,
Eclipsed,
Falls.

Acknowledgements :- Since I hadn’t participated in previous week’s prompts for both the challenge, I’ve used the same.
Thank you Colleen. M. Chesebro for running the Colleen’s Weekly Tanka Challenge. The challenge was to use the phrase Illusions of power in a syllable poem. Thank you Eugenia for running the Eugi’s Weekly Prompt Challenge. The challenge was to use the word Bewitched. Thank you all for stopping by and reading.
A beautiful double Etheree! So apt for the prompt!
