How do I engage the mind,
That flits like a butterfly over many flowers?
Over yonder a mynah cries out loud,
Her calls intersperses with desperation,
Pages, pages of paper lie,
Waiting to be decorated with thoughts,
Closet of claustrophobia crushes,
The very breath of existence,
How do I engage the mind,
That ponders only, without knowing to express?
Over yonder winter rings,
Chilly aura takes possession of everyone around,
Years, years of life lies,
Waiting for right moment to be framed in eternity,
Rosy string of pearls are woven for one gone by,
While he was overlooked when he was here.

A beautifully composed poem, Aishwarya! Confusion and frustration powerfully expressed. Tragically, the ending is too often true. Stay safe and be happy! ❤
