Over dark, rainy nights,
Thundering clouds, the
Quivering silence of soul brushes against,
As each drop pit patters,
Plummeting through images it settles on rim,
Of dainty bud coaxing,
To open its layers,
Bud and soul pondering,
Nature plays awhile.
Circumspect to open their oft hidden layers,
Song of monsoon calling,
Beauty to reveal.
Poetry Form :- Double ennead ( 99 syllables of 3 stanzas ; 6/5/11/6/5 syllables in each stanza )
Thoughts :- Like how the song of monsoon coaxes a bud to open its layers and bloom into a pretty flower, the same song of monsoon coaxes one to recollect old memories. Unknown and unseen, nostalgia emerges.
