The scars she carries,
Are not which she wears proudly as a badge,
They are marks of man’s doing,
Marks that can’t be undone,
Vengeance that was splattered across when man killed man,
Without valuing life,
Victory that was earned to portray his ego,
Without valuing brotherhood,
Wars that were waged to feed his greed,
Without valuing peace,
Enmity that was fostered,
Without valuing freedom,
She spills a drop of her precious silver tear,
For every wrongdoing here,
Shrinks and wanes,
Not anymore,
On this night of her full glory,
On this month which marks beginning of a new year,
On this night of wolf moon,
She rises,
Refusing to be a mere witness any longer,
Signalling her trusted soldiers,
Wolf’s cry heralds her,
Riding on blemishes of mankind,
Seeking to avenge all wrongs.
