Alive

after,
days free from each
other, heart held taut, opens
vortex of emotions,
grips like never,
before.

Regret was never in
your rigid unknowing,
sublime detached knowing,
causing yearning .

Rising,
from ebbing days,
of solitary path,
vulnerability,
companion’s hold,
falling.

Poetry form :- ( Stanza 1 & 3 :- Badger Hexastitch :- 2/4/6/6/4/2 with rising and falling end words ; Stanza 2 :- Abhanga ( 6/6/6/4 with rhyme scheme in Line 2 and 3.)

Acknowledgements :- Thank you Colleen . M. Chesebro for hosting Colleen’s Weekly Poetry Challenge. This week it is a syllable synonyms challenge and two words are tight & loose. I’ve used taut, grips, rigid as synonyms for tight and free, detached as synonyms for loose. For rules please refer here. Thank you all for stopping by and reading.
