Winter again

Sultry summer nights ensure,

Winter was wished away,

Early in the day,

Chirping insects and twinkling stars,

Keeps company,

On this warm new moon night,

Surreal darkness lights up as,

A shooting star swiftly shoots by,

Before I can mutter a wish,

Winter again!
