Connecting dots

Chilly fragrance wraps,
over autumn’s canvas, Earth’s
alter ego rings.

Of a long lost friend,
She reminisces through days,
Distance separates

Tiny specks of green,
Emerges from wintry barks,
On dewy tree tops.

Nostalgia takes trip,
Through photos of yesteryear,
When time lives afresh.

Summer’s sun fills up,
Earth’s abundance full before,
autumn takes over.

Letters rekindles bond,
That was lost, connection forms,
Between friends long seen.

Poetry form :- ( Haiku ( 3 sets, in normal font), Senryu ( 3 sets , in italics).

Acknowledgements :- Thank you Colleen. M. Chesebro for hosting #TANKA TUESDAY WEEKLY #POETRY CHALLENGE NO. 219,Β #SPECIFICFORM ( Haiku/ Senryu ). The flowers of the fiction plant rooted in my brain, the voice of the inexpressible feelings hidden in my heart and the eruption of the theories burning in my mind– I made a ball out of the three, threw it high into the sky and it landed right at my blog.
