Chilly fragrance wraps,
over autumn’s canvas, Earth’s
alter ego rings.
Of a long lost friend,
She reminisces through days,
Distance separates.
Tiny specks of green,
Emerges from wintry barks,
On dewy tree tops.
Nostalgia takes trip,
Through photos of yesteryear,
When time lives afresh.
Summer’s sun fills up,
Earth’s abundance full before,
autumn takes over.
Letters rekindles bond,
That was lost, connection forms,
Between friends long seen.
