A very special day

There’s no denial that we are as different as chalk and cheese will ever be,

Practical and down to earth that you can be,

Stuck in the clouds and dreamy I’d always be,

Expressive, living life to the fullest that you always shall be,

Over-thinking and boring, I always shall be,

Many a times there be,

When I’ve felt that you have no understanding of me, how much ever I try to be,

Probably it was a lack of understanding from my part, that seemed so to be,

I don’t know if you are lucky to be having me,

I am more than blessed to be having you,

For sure you are the special angel sent to mother me,

There are many reasons to celebrate you,

I choose to celebrate you on your very special day,

Today is my mother’s day,

A very special day,

Happy Birthday Amma,

I fail to admire roses and their fragrance in your midst,

I fail to admire Sun and his brightness in your midst,

I fail to admire whole of creation in your midst,

I am nothing without you,

You are my centre of the Universe.

Forever yours,

Your dreamy daughter.

The flowers of the fiction plant rooted in my brain, the voice of the inexpressible feelings hidden in my heart and the eruption of the theories burning in my mind– I made a ball out of the three, threw it high into the sky and it landed right at my blog.
