Snooze, snooze

caffeine gives me not
energy as good sleep does,
drunk on sleep, snooze, snooze.

Poetry form :- Zappai ( 5/7/5 syllables)

More about Zappai :-

Zappai are poems that have a 5-7-5 syllable pattern that do not contain the seasonal reference expected of haiku.

( Source :- Writer’s Digest.)

Acknowledgements :- Thank you Val for hosting August Scavenger Hunt. For the challenge from the given set of poetry forms I have chosen to write on given theme of drunkenness using the given form Zappai. For rules please refer here. Thank you all for stopping by and reading.
