Almost obscure

P.C :- Kellepics Pixabay

The pretty moon hangs in low,

Almost obscure,

As though indifferent to those muffled moans,

Sheets of darkness descends before time ,

In a hurry to cover this vast expanse.

He has come to make his mark known,

On these cold wintry nights,

A pall of gloom raises its hood,

A shivery chill of impending proportions,

The unmistakable tingle of grim and grief,

Hades* has once again risen this cold winter night,

The pretty moon peaks,

Is just but a mere spectator,

To my unsurmountable gloom.

85 words.

Hades * :- In Greek mythology, Hades is both the land of the dead and the God who rules there.
