Monotony

Monotony is meditation,

Monotony is meaningful,

Monotony is activity,

Monotony is anchor,

Monotony is life,

Monotony has a pattern,

Monotony means earth and sky,

Monotony means night and day,

Monotony means black and white,

When in unmindfulness, I see mindfulness,

When in stillness, I see conversations,

When in isolation, I see dreams,

Then I’d be celebrating monotony and not complaining.

  1. The grass is always greener… When it is hot I want cold. When it is noisy I want quiet. And when it is busy I want calm. When my wish is granted I am not satisfied and want the opposite! I now know I’m not alone!
