Truth

truth,
two faced,
bitter fact,
veiled convenience,
wait,

truth,
mirror,
liminal,
conscience’s face off,
feel,

truth,
stop & go,
frozen thoughts,
introspect doubts,
care,

truth,
mirage,
judgemental,
different self,
heal.

Poetry form :- Lanturne or Lanterne (1/2/3/4/1 syllables). The above is a Lanterne series.

  1. Aishwarya, I love this poem. It illustrates the fact that as much as we wish it were not so, truth is subjective. Like beauty, it is in the eye of the beholder. Some people lie with malicious intent, but I think that most people just tell the truth as they perceive it.

    Have a great weekend! ❀
