Fresh start

It’s been raining and raining,

As if nature is in a hurry to wipe away the grim lying around,

My fears of tomorrow is resplendent as the day dawns,

They arrive with an unknown reason-

And flow like water-

it stifles and crushes when it overpowers you,

it nurtures when you nurture it,

Skies don’t seem to contain the downpour, they cascade like waterfalls,

Will power doesn’t seem to contain my fears, they lie around waiting to pounce,

Foliage shall glisten ;nature shall blossom once downpour ceases,

And so shall my ray of hope shine from beyond mountain of fears.

  1. Kitty, I can see where those cascading downpours could get oppressive after awhile. It’s nice to have water, but where is the balance? Hoping that season is about done in your area so you can rest easy again.

  2. Aishwarya – this is so intense… and I just love this line because I can relate to it so strongly:

Will power doesn’t seem to contain my fears, they lie around waiting to pounce,
