Packing a punch

even if draped in rainbow hues,
can it ward off everyday blues,
the sky isn’t my all time muse,
i keep the search on,

to shoo blues do i prep a punch,
for mid-day lazy-daisy brunch,
or resort to plain number crunch?
i ponder.
