jarred voice of secrets
raises eyebrows in a silent stifling space
if we were to toss a jar of lies
into the mighty ocean
would she offer redemption?
probably, probably not
what would remain
perhaps, her salty waters stinging tell- tales across twinkling sky?

Love everything about this. It invites going back to read again and again. “silent stifling space” is powerful as is “salty waters stinging tell- tales across twinkling sky”.

so good. probably not! throwing lies in the ocean is the equivalent of plastic garbage. so yeah, no redemption. Lovely, Kitty. Thanks.
