Children

I lay there motionless gasping for breath.

I heard the sound of footsteps making its way near me, a big man, in whose powers I had no doubt,I thought I’ll be saved.

Alas! I was wrong, it never wanted to save me, I stay alive to tell the story because of the little boy who poured water to save me from the brink of my death, children are indeed God’s gift to the planet.
