Often the best times,
Are happily forgotten,
Shelved in some corner,
Compared with yet other happier times,
While the bitter times,
Are effortlessly included into everyday folds of life,
Reminisced at every given opportunity,
For what it isn’t worth, speculated, talked, brooded upon,
Life is short, they say,
Are we happy only to remember the bitter times,
And sadly forget the happier ones?

The word of the day is “Best”. Thank you all for stopping by and reading.
How true of human nature. To be stuck on misfortunes and give the happy moments a backseat.
Thanks for joining in the prompt

Such lovely words so well penned, Kitty and yes why forget happier times and only remember bitter times. We all have a choice in life what we want to choose.
