A creek makes its way inland from the sea roughing barriers,
Words flow inking shapeless patterns,
Those that narrate fiction, reality, love, hate, hurt,
Like an intoxicating blend of early morning coffee,
Words flow inking shapeless patterns,
Images erstwhile stored in unseen corners of brain, unveil dreamy horizons,
Twirling to tunes of a humble pen,
Those that narrate fiction, reality, love, hate, hurt,
Antidotes the heart that are hurt,
Zephyrus’s* subtle promise to wounded souls,
Like an intoxicating blend of early morning coffee,
Like magical patterns of clouds,
Like sudden summer rains, mere letters enchant on paper.
97 words.
Zephyrus* :- He is the Greek God of west wind, personified west wind who is gentle and calm. Zephyrus has evolved into the word Zephyr meaning a gentle breeze. ( Courtesy :- Google)
Poetry form :- Trimeric (invented by Charles A. Stone)
The rules are pretty simple:
1. Trimeric has 4 stanzas
2. The first stanza has 4 lines
3. The other three stanzas have 3 lines each
4. The first line of each stanza is a refrain of the corresponding line in the first stanza (so 2nd stanza starts with the second line, third stanza starts with the third line, etc.).
5. The sequence of lines, then, is abcd, b – -, c – -, d – -.
Note: No other rules on line length, meter, or rhyme. ( Courtesy :- dVerse)
