On this unknown life’s train,
Nomad of a passenger that I am,
Wherever it takes, I gladly go,
What have I promised myself I ask,
Nomad of a passenger that I am,
Are there promises to be kept,
What have I promised myself I ask,
That is to be broken?
From cacophony of mind’s chaos,
It is the peaceful colours of sunset I wish,
Spreading joy everyday,
Vibrant and unassuming,
It is the peaceful colours of sunset I wish,
Amidst daily carefree babble,
Vibrant and unassuming,
Happiness they spread,
Tranquility may seem simple,
Simple but profound to achieve,
Amongst life’s noises,
It slithers away from fingers of our hand- unseen,
Simple but profound to achieve,
Those calm, unexciting every- days,
It slithers away from fingers of our hand- unseen,
On this unknown life’s train.

Wishing all of you a Happy 2022!!!
