Layers of life lived in absentia,
Layers of life lived in lies,
Layers of life lived in nostalgia,
Layers of life lived in denial,
Layers of life lived in loops,
When momentary negativity becomes fodder for a lifetime,
When microscopic problems assume macroscopic proportions,
When bearable moments of pain become gargantuan mountains of disaster,
When incognizable failures become gigantic boulders of pressure,
It doesn’t stop a rose from spreading her fragrance even though she’s filled with thorns, what’s stopping us then?
Let’s create a mandala of positive journeys.

Acknowledgements :- Thank you Jade Li for hosting Poetics at dVerse. The theme for today is:-
1) Use any of the definitions, examples, images, or application of fractals to inspire you to write whatever strikes your fancy.
Or
2) Think about something/someone in your world that you have, up to this point, only given a superficial consideration of and decide to look a little closer at it/them. Use what you discover as fodder for a poem.
For rules please refer here. Thank you all for stopping by and reading.
Bravo. You have definitely constructed in our thoughts a fractal of repeated patterns, rhytms, drawing the frailty of human insensitivity.

Great message! Love this: “When microscopic problems assume macroscopic proportions” We have to guard our thoughts, and not focus on the negative. Often, our thoughts manifest quicker than we realize! ππ

Kitty an uplifting reminder in a fractal framework. I should have thought of mandalas when thinking of fractals!

Beautiful poem. I loved how the little things represent and become a thing of much greater proportions.
