Trust

A family of five, a happy family it was. Meena, Mahesh, their two kids and not to forget their lab, Timmy.

Both Meena and Mahesh were good looking, well educated, employed in top MNCs, with two lovely children, a girl of six and a boy of ten. They had all that they could ask for, a penthouse, SUV. Life was rosy and they lived in the lap of luxury.

As a couple, they were fond of each other, never missing an occasion to shower their love for each other. As parents, well, you could imagine, they ensured their kids had the best of education and tried to raise them well albeit much pampering and fussing. They wanted their kids to stand grounded and be accountable for their actions.

Timmy was the highlight of their family, they welcomed him  into their family the same time as their son was born. There wasn’t a moment’s dullness when he was around. He went along with them on all the trips they took.

Many a times  they were awarded the “Best Couple of the Year”, ” Ideal Family”  both at their workplace and also at the community where they lived.

At times, Meena was lost in her thoughts when she inadvertently remembered the numerous times her husband was linked up with his female co-workers, that she heard through the grapevine. Shushing her thoughts, she decided, I’ll love and trust him till the sunset of my life. He is the first love of my life, and no rumor would shake off my trust on him. Separation is not what I yearn for, love is something I live for.

  1. Meena’s devotion is very admirable, something rather rare in today’s world. I so hope that it is well-placed and that the rumors she hears are the work of envy rather than truth. I hope that he loves her in the same way she loves him. Beautiful story!

  2. What a painful ending to a storybook beginning. Sadly, some marriages can be destroyed by rumors, true or not, and by not being willing to ask for forgiveness and being willing to forgive and try harder.
    Great SSS.
